Berkeley Transportation Systems is a privately held transportation systems consultant firm. The founders of BTS have been active in many ITS areas, but the focus of the company is on transportation data systems, including:

• The design of transportation data collection systems
• Loop detector diagnostic algorithms
• Loop detector imputation algorithms
• Transportation systems database design, consulting in deployment
• Performance measurement of transportation systems
• Travel time prediction algorithms and systems

Early customers have included state DOTs, academic institutions and other transportation consultant firms.
