BTS is searching for an Oracle Database Administrator with experience in data warehousing. The ideal candidate has experience with data modeling, database design and architecture using enterprise-level Oracle tools. The position not only manages the ongoing operation of our large databases, but also supports Perl and PHP developers in optimizing queries.

Responsibilities are as follows.

• Design, refactoring, validation and troubleshooting for several Oracle RDBMS installations
• Guide the development team in database best practices
• Manage the ongoing operation of all databases, including monitoring and planning for growth
• Collaborate with programmers to optimize performance

We're looking for someone with the following qualifications.

• 5 years of experience working as an Oracle DBA
• Experience with Oracle versions 9i and 10g
  
• Great communication skills, including the ability to write specifications
  
• Ability to program in Perl a plus
